We offer a
unique approach to rehablitation, restoration, and healing.
Aquatic
Physical Therapy
(Heated 93 degree pool)
Provides a gentle environment for patients that are unable to tolerate
exercises on land. Aquatic therapy is a safe and effective way to
rehabilitate when you are suffering from pain. The water’s buoyancy
decreases the amount of force and stress on injured joints and tissues,
allowing movement and significantly less pain. It can help build
strength, increase endurance, and improve range of motion in order
to return to day-to-day activities sooner. Our program is unique
and specialized in that our therapists work hands-on with patients
in the water.
Pilates-Based
Rehabilitation
We offer progressive treatments using the Balanced Body Reformer.
This state of the art equipment provides upper & lower body strengthening
in functional positions that improve posture, core strength, and
flexibility. All of these are necessary components for effective
rehabilitation and injury prevention. We also offer private Pilates
sessions with a Certified Pilates Instructor.
Land-Based
Physical Therapy
In addition
to our aquatic and Pilates-Based rehabilitation programs, we also
provide the following services: physical therapy evaluations with
monthly progress notes sent to your referring MD, soft tissue/joint/neural
tissue mobilization, myofascial release, cervical traction, various
modalities for pain management and inflammation reduction, gait
and balance training, progressive strength training, individualized
home exercise programs (complete with visual handouts).
Post-Rehabilitation
Fitness Programs
This program
is offered to patients who have completed their physical therapy
and would like to continue with a supervised exercise program. A
licensed physical therapist will create a safe and effective exercise
routine to avoid re-injury and maximize fitness potential.
